livefit update & recipe





last week was a tough one.
i think once you get past the first month, you start to burn out on 
the same foods,
and the same workouts.
but now starting week seven,
i am used to the whole system.
i am down five pounds which doesn't seem like a lot, but i have tightened up and flattened out.
the weight came off easier for me after cutting dairy out completely.

on sundays i plan my meals for the week. that way im not in a bind with no food.
 i switch it up weekly.
but having a major sweet tooth. there are some recipes which i stick to.
i am not one of those bloggers who is going to put a recipe on here and claim it as my own...
because lets be honest, i am terrible in the kitchen so i follow other peoples recipes.
this is jamie eason recipe, not mine!
but these pumpkin protein bars are DIVINE.
and they last me the whole week.

serving size: two bars
109 cals, 8g protein, 4g carbs.


Ingredients:


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Spray a 9 X 13 Pyrex dish with non-stick spray.
  3. Combine first 11 ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add the final 3 ingredients (4, if adding walnuts), and mix until incorporated. Spread batter into the Pyrex dish and bake for 30 min.
  5. Makes 24 squares.
